Alain Alfaro is an Emmy Award–winning producer, director, editor, and writer based in New York City. His NBC mini-documentary From the Bronx to Paris: Breaking’s Road to the Olympics earned him the 2025 New York Sports Emmy Award for Outstanding Sports Story – Long Form. He is also a multi-time Emmy winner for his editing work on NBC’s 1st Look.

Beyond network television, Alain has built a diverse body of independent work that has screened at film festivals across the country. His original comedy series HENRY led to a development deal with Warner Bros. Television, and he was selected as a finalist in the Warner Bros. Emerging Directors Program in 2016. His short comedy film Message Erased was acquired by HBO Max in 2019, while his sci-fi pilot Farside advanced to the Second Round of the Austin Film Festival Screenplay Competition in 2020. Most recently, his short thriller Don’t Wait Up for Me earned multiple festival honors, including Best Thriller at the 2023 Arthouse Festival in Beverly Hills.

Alain lives in Brooklyn with his wife and two children, where he continues to explore new forms of storytelling across television, film, and digital media.
